Author’s Note: It’s going to be very busy day (and week) in my day job so here’s a short poem for the week. I wrote it 6 years ago after I had a discussion with my boss. She was about to discuss future endeavors about work and I had a choice – to give her false hopes or tell her the truth that in a few months, I’m moving to Canada.
What a shocking way to end the day
When things just got in your way
And when it is finally out off hand
All you have to do is to take a stand.
